Privacy
Last updated 3 August 2026. Oreuma has no accounts. Your fitness level and any physical limitations you select never leave your device. Your workout history is stored there too — a few anonymous measurements taken from it are sent for product analytics, and every one of them is listed below.
No accounts
Oreuma does not require or support creating an account. There is no email, password, or login — nothing you enter is tied to your identity.

What stays on your device
Your fitness level, any physical limitations you have selected, and your workout history (dates, durations, exercises, and feedback) are stored in a local database on your device. Those records never leave it, and nothing in them is tied to your identity. A small number of anonymous measurements taken from them are sent for product analytics — every one of those is listed under "Anonymous analytics" below.
Anonymous analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the app is used, in aggregate. What gets sent: which of the three session options you picked and how long the workout actually took; how long it had been since your last one; whether you finished or stopped early, and how you rated it afterwards; which exercise you skipped and what kind of movement you swapped; which optional parts of a session you used or skipped; and whether you saw the subscription screen, started a trial, bought a plan, or turned reminders on. That is the whole list. All of it is anonymous — tied to a device, never to a person, and there is no account to connect it to. It never includes your fitness level, your physical limitations, or any personally identifying information. Analytics are processed on PostHog’s EU infrastructure.
Crash reports
We use Sentry to catch and fix bugs. Crash reports may include your device model, OS version, your IP address (which Sentry records by default), and technical details about what the app was doing when it crashed. They do not include your workout history or fitness data.
How long data is kept
Anything stored on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the app — we cannot reach it and cannot delete it for you. Analytics events and crash reports are held by PostHog and Sentry under their own standard retention policies; we do not extend them or set longer periods of our own.
Subscriptions
If you subscribe to Oreuma Plus, your payment is processed entirely by the App Store or Google Play — we never see your payment details. RevenueCat verifies your subscription status using an anonymous device identifier, not your name or email.
Deleting your data
Since everything is stored locally, uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of your fitness data. There is no account to delete because none was ever created.
Your rights
You have the right to access personal data about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is processed. Because Oreuma has no accounts and the records themselves stay on your device, most of this you exercise directly: uninstalling the app deletes them. For the anonymous measurements listed above, held by our processors, write to info@oreuma.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
Children
Oreuma is not directed at children under 13.
